Well, here it goes:
If you want to participate in the creation of eslprintables 2010 calendar, you can choose a month and make a "calendar page". Something like this:
A word document in two pages: one for the drawing, and other one for the calendar.
Send me the document to my email (
[email protected]) including your username, before december 20th.
In the subject of your message write "eslprintables calendar"
Each user can send only one document, so we can have a variety of styles.
At the end of the year I will publish in the website all the documents received and we will vote to choose the best for each month.
If you use unusual fonts, please send me also a copy of the fonts. Otherwise, your document will not be seen properly.
The rules are the same that we have for printables: you can draw your own pictures or use free cliparts.
The prize will be... the gratitude of many teachers from many countries.
PS: According to your votes, most users prefer the week starting on monday. Anyway, if you send me both versions, even better.
PPS: Please take into account that the theme doesnt have to be seasonal. I made this example just to show you the expected format, but we should take into account that the seasons are not the same in all the countries. You can include educational tips (see these suggestions), teaching quotes, poems, funny situations related to english language, etc.
Anyway, the best idea could be to publish all the calendars so that each user can choose the ones which are more adequate for their students age, country and traditions.
