Methodological tools ideas?

Hello friends,
I would like to share some ideas of making teaching methodological tools for our classes (vocabulary, speaking, grammar). Do you have any interesting pictures of some tools that really work or do you know any great links to look at and get inspered of useful products? Let me know please, its summer and I have time for making these tools. I am attaching some of my work also (and one from shop) you to have a better idea what I mean. Thanks for your comments!

Hi dear ivush,

Love what you do!!

Most of my materials are home-made... I live in a small city with no ESL shops.... or English books.... so I prepare crafts or posters, flashcards, dice... etc... and some other games... but I have no photos  :S

If you want you can check my WS to have an idea about some works (not all). I have more ideas to prepare maybe then I m gonna take some pics to share with you.

Can you put the link about your works, or are they in this site?

Here there are some links I found for some activities where I see the ideas and then I adapt them to my students needs :

games:

Hope it can be useful for your classes!

Hugs,

I love your handmade resources dear Ivush, you are very artistic and your students must love your classes. As I m not very artistic I tend to do more flashcard games, but it would be great to make and use resources like these one day. Congratulations on all your hard work. Hug

What I envy is the fact that you have your own space to use these brilliant teaching aids. In my school we are not allowed anything personal as the rooms may be used by others or changed at the drop of a hat. Everything I own is kept in a plastic box which I take from room to room. I am fortunate that we have a Interactive whiteboard so I can store heaps of stuff on that.
Not complaining..just remembering my primary school teaching days when the whole room was mine to fill with colour and fun activities.

Hello Joy, I know what you mean. I am trying my best in my clasroom (see attached photos) but I am teaching kids aged 13 and they seem not to appreatiate the school environment much. Also in my country (Czech rep.) is still not possible to make a classroom completely suitable for children and their education like in UK/US, I mean fixed chairs, insisting on sitting
for 45 min, not talking, etc.

Hello ivush,

Some days ago I was at some shops where there are a lot of toys. I founds some things to buy. At first different kinds of dominoes, then I found a mat which is a kind of puzzle with numbers. It is possible to fold it in a pile. One more is so called russion lotto with cards and a set of wooden small barrels -again numbers. Now I m on the way of buying all these things. I like it when there are a lot of activity games in the class. Thanks for your letter and for your ideas. Tatyana

How did you make the wheel? I would love to make one!

The wheel is made of a big washing powder plastic lid attached to a wooded desk by a strong nut, the rostelum is made by a tiny piece of a hose and the fragements are measured and then pinned by small srews. Finally the coloured paper fractions are glued to it :) Its easy when you have the right material :)
