"Loving" is used that way here in Australia too - meaning enjoying. I ´ve also heard "I ´m really hating this." - from a student struggling with maths. |

I see it as a "the language is changing" thing. When I was young we never used "loving", that came later and sounded "wrong" at first; but, thanks to various advertising campaigns (and songs), it has caught-on with the younger generation and has become common use. It has begun to no longer sound "wrong". So, similar to the word "whom", I see its use changing--which is what languages do.

I think people do use it. ´How ´s Jack getting on with his work experience? ´He ´s really loving it. � The meaning has changed in this context, as others point out - it just means ´enjoy �. |
