On another note:
I have recently uploaded a flashcard game: MONKEY MEMORY -- its response was very ... eh... well, inexistent.
Maybe some of my club mates can share their opinion on the game or its presentation or whatever so that I make can make it more functional or attractive or whatever. Id really appreciate your honest feedback because I thought this game would bring me a bit more than barely 4 points.
Here are the links to the monkey memory game:

Aww Shucks. I sometimes think i am way to opinionated. I love this website though and cant help adding my 2 cents... Thank you for your feedback - it was really nice.
I have looked at your game and provided feedback through the comments function. It is a fantastic game - I cant wait to see it repackaged and reposted.... will add the link to the front page if you decide to do this.
Thanks for another great resource!
Dont get to down - I also have had a major flop lately - Dingbats. i still cant believe no one liked it! It is such a fantastic game to play - the kids love it - the teenagers love it - and so do the adults.... Not sure what I did wrong either. I think maybe the content was too difficult - you need a good understanding of common sayings maybe. I am going to try another addition with picture clues.... see if that is any better received. |

Among todays (October 24) freebies is a set of cute flashcards from Luxi. What I really like is her idea of a game called Donkey that goes with it. In my eyes this can be a great way to review the vocabulary of last class in a short & fun warm-up activity. Heres her description of the game:
"Teacher delivers three different cards to each student and the purpose is to collect the three cards of the same animals. The procedure is: each student pass a card to the count of three to the student on his/her right and take a card from the student on his/her left. When three cards of the same animal are collected the student must say DONKEY!! and then, for instance, IVE GOT KANGAROO CARDS." (sic)
If you wanna download her flashcards go to:

Wish you all a pleasant weekend.

Hello, everyone. Id also like to be a member of the flashcard funclub and make a small contribution. The flashcards are not mine, they are part of our belarusian national complex "Magic Box" for primary school. Ive used them for five years already with kids 4-14, and they are always a great success. The only thing is that they are like colouring pages, and you have to print and colour them yourselves. The link is here http://aversev.com/news/e9338e06c12562c7.html Click in the appropriate picture, and then click on the word ??????? in the opening page. If it doesnt work, contact me and Ill send them to you by e-mail. [email protected]

Hi Guys, I just noticed Lars had told you all about a worksheet (a book of games) from Emma. I also downloaded one of hers called Find the Frog I made a huge version of it and played the game with my little kindergarten kids. It is so much fun and you can use it for any vocabulary. Well done Emma, keep up the good work. Yeti xx |

Ive been working with Flashcards for years and of course Id like to add my contribution, too!
I give each pupil one card and I start saying: "Everybody stand up!". When everybody is standing up I start describing one of the cards (reading from notes): for example "Shes got long black hair". After each sentence those who have got a different picture sit down... and we go on until one person is stwnding, the person with the card Im describing.
It is also good as a listening exercise... and they like it!
