In France, a teacher s salary is about 1300 Euros at the very beginning of the career, but it rapidly goes up to 2000 Euros. At the end of the career, it can reach 3500 Euros!!! (also depending on the overtime and the responsibility you can have in your school....)
I personnaly earn about 2000 Euros and pay 600 Euros for the house rent.
As far as the house rent is concerned, it really depends on where you live. From 300 Euros for a one-roomed flat in a small town up to 1000 Euros (and more) for a house in a city mear Paris or any other big city!!! |

It is important to know how many hours do you work. I work 53 lessons a week (45 minutes classes) and I earn U$S 900, and I pay U$S 130 for my house.

Brazil? It depends on where you live (and "who" pays you)... In the state of Esprito Santo where I live, it is about R$ 1.400,00 (beginner) - 20 hours per week. But some states pay
R$ 500,00 (our money is called "Real" 1 real = 2,800 Euros). Renting a house costs about R$ 450,00 - 600,00... (that s why most of brazilian teachers work from 7:00 A.m. to 10: 30 P.M.!!!! (15 -16 classes per DAY!) |
