I personally love * "Friends", * "Coupling", * "How I met your mother" * "CSI Las Vegas" * "Las Vegas" ... and hundreds of other English-speaking series... But most of the ones we ve all mentioned are actually American. Then I would say for the British series "Coupling" and "Little Britain". Have a nice weekend `....`

Have you ever heard of The Inbetweeners? It s a recent sitcom on Channel 4 and it s hilarious. It s about some uncool suburban teenagers. In fact, if you teach teenagers, I think it would be great to show them some clips from it, you can probably find them on YouTube.
And don´t forget the wonderful Gossip Girl (although that´s American, not British!) |

I grew up watching Little House on the Praire, Bonanza, Fawlty Towers, Monty Python then Dallas, Allo allo, Married with Children, The Golden Girls, Charlie s Angels, The Saint (I was soooo in love with Roger Moore!!!) Who s Boss...and I was a BIG fan of The Cosby Show.
I don t watch much TV nowadays, but have taken a liking to Grey s Anatomy, House, CSI Las Vegas (I used to watch this series on DVD but began to see dead people etc in my sleep! so I decided to stop watching it for a while! ) Friends is a great sitcom to use in class & always gets me laughing. |
