This is appropriate for low beginner readers. I repeated this reading for several days using Total Physical Response (teaching by students copying your actions >> "I weigh the envelope") This was very effective for learning new post office vocabulary and the verbs. This was designed for Canadian adult immigrants with limited English where they needed to learn the steps to do things in Canada. The strip stories are for cutting up and then placing sentences in the correct order either by copying the original or from memory. Doing a general community lesson, this was an excellent build up tool using "put in" and "take out" to explain "deposit" and "withdraw" in Bank Story 1 and 2.
