This is something I wrote for a presentation I did some time ago. It should not be considered as a comprehensive manual but merely a guide to providing insight on teaching reading in the ESL classroom. I think it might be helpful to anyone teaching ESL for the first time who are not necessarily trained to do so. Hope itīs useful.
