At a store - communication practice
This is good practice for shopping vocabulary and accuracy in answering questions about this topic. First, pre-teach the vocabulary, then practice the conversation several times and finally, ask-asnwer questions in pairs, then in quads then the class as a whole.

I use this "test" after my students have read a book (I used this with National Geographic series). I ask them to choose I book they like and then fill in this form. After 15 - 30 days they hand it in. They do like this activity.

ed PRONUNCIATION and TONGUE TWISTERS
I have this activity since I started teaching. It is simple but it does the job when sts get anxious about ed sound in regular verbs. I have also added some tongue twisters which were the first ones I learned and they were fun at the time and still do the work.

SPEAKING activity with a DVD
This acitivity is very funny to do because it entices students� attitudes towards speaking and paying attention. Bassically, the activity involves half of the class watches parts of the film while the other half watches another one. It is a great activity and keeps students motivated. I�ve tried that and students hjulst loved it!
