Asking for Something activity cards
Students are given one question prompt card and response card and circulate around the room to see if their cards make sense with various partners. Prompts allow students to practice questions beginning with [ can I?, can you?, could you?, could I, will you? and may I?].

Business English Class Starter
One page informational survey for business english students collecting demographic, contact and language skill information. Most is written, so completing the form is a skill in itself. I gave my students 10 minutes to complete and those not done were allowed to take it home and return it the next day.
