Thank you all for participating in this thread. The tone of the post that inspired my post bugged me and I thought I would make lemons into lemonade (with a little tongue in cheek) I am so glad that everyone is enjoying it. Ed, I �ve fertilized my backyard, I �ve started a very successful penguin breeding farm, I �ve registerd my grandchildren as crayonpals and chalkpals, now I will try and give you a few penguin jokes. If the jokes don�t work, I will get Marion to make me a costume just like hers and I will go from backyard to backyard looking for more penguins. So, please, please, let me be on the pencilpal list.

Oh Ed, I �m so happy you mentioned the expression "If life gives you lemons...."
I sent this picture to my collegues last week and they didn �t get it because they didn �t know the expression and I started to worry i was off....Since you obviously do know the expression, I �m sharing it with you..
Now, melons, wouldn �t that be a nice and light dessert to compliment your recipe? |
