Dear all,
I wrote a message to BLOGCU (the Turkish blogging platform) this morning. Let s see if I get any answer.
I explained the situation and I know that some platforms take the subject seriously.
I ll keep you posted if I get an answer.
Have a nice day and please please don t think that all Turkish members are the same!!!!!

I am disgusted! We also share, because we care, the only difference is that every body needs to share! I know how long it takes to make a power point or a printable. Lots of time and effort goes into it. And then some one comes and steals our work! I looked a the dates and most of them an it says 30/12/2010. It seems to be a recent site? I hope that something will and can be done! |

It s sad it happens again and again....I ve downloaded some wss and checked the documents - the names of real owners haven t been changed, so it shouldn t be very difficult to prove who created them....

So sad and disheartening that this is happening again.
@Aline37, of course (I hope) none of us are narrow-minded enough to think that all members from Turkey are the same. In every country, in every city, in every town, in every village, there are people who work hard to create something of their own, and others who just like to sponge off other people s efforts and hard work. Thank you, Aline, for contacting them. I really hope they take your (our) request seriously.
Edit:
ALthough I posted in the cbox on the homepage, it seems that you can only report a copyright infringement to Facebook if you are the owner of the IP address where the original material was taken from. As I dont know much about the Web, Im not sure if this means only Victor can report it or if the eslp members whose work was stolen can also report. But it seems the rest of us cannot. |

I have just sent Victor a pm. Ive realized that what this member is posting at Facebook is only the link to the stolen documents in his/her blog, so I dont think the Facebook team can do anything about it. This person has ads by Google, so Victor can report him to Google AdSense for copyright infringement and then Google should stop paying him/her the money he/she gets for the ads that appear on the blog. I hope this solves the problem.
Have a nice day.
Hugs,
Katiana |
