Practicing the form "let�s........" and how to ask someone to do something with you, e.g. a date. Students brainstormed activities to do on a date with me on the board, then copied these onto their worksheets. They then had to create sentences using these activities.

I explained that emphasis on certain words can change the meaning of a sentence:
