I am now, after more than 5 decades in the work force, officially semi-retired. New hobby: gardening. Old hobby restarting: table tennis. I still have some classes to teach and materials to design, many of which I will continue to share with the dear members of ESLPs. You may come across my materials on Facebook and my blog.

Adverbs of Manner multi-choice worksheet with answer keys
All the sentences are taken from Adverbs Switchit, a UNO type game in the form of flash/game cards, which I will share with you over the coming days. This is a useful companion to the game and flash cards.

Countable Uncountable and Containers flash cards 7-12 of many.
Have you ever taught countables and uncountables in English only and then tried showing students how we can move from uncountable to countable using containers and then numbers (noun-adjectives)? Use these cards for pair work. What do you want? I want some flour. How much flour do you want? I want a 25 pound bag of flour.

A, An or Some
Last semester I gave my uni students a lovely worksheet from Ana (Katiana), which used a, an, some, much, many and any as a review, and they did so badly. Dont blame me. Anyway I have created this one in the hope that they will more than just guess and gain some confidence in their English. I hope you dont need an answer key at this level.

New Alphabet Tracks: letter l in full color, black and white and blank.
3 different tracks uploaded today. Hopefully I will find time tomorrow to more. I would not like to stop now in the middle. Thanks to all of you who daily leave comments, it is encouraging. I love doing a series of materials, but we do need staying power. More information and a key inside.

Demonstrative Pronoun Poster
I was looking online for demonstrative pronoun flash cards, but their is not much of value out there. This one is more of a reference card for children to use when using demonstrative pronouns in speaking or writing activities. Ill probably make some flash cards/activity cards to go with this at a later date.

New Alphabet Tracks: letter v in full color, black and white and blank.
Three tracks today; getting close to the end. I am thinking of making 2 versions of "y", but there are not many suitable words(the same goes for "k") so I have not decided yet. If you have missed any and want to catch up, just go to my account and select newest first and scroll through the alphabet tracks. Suggestions on how to use the worksheet...

Phonic Fun: Missing ay Words
I was saddened to see that all the comments on the old worksheets have disappeared, so I decided to upload a few more worksheets. Who knows? I may get a comment or two, lol. When checking this worksheet, have the child read out loud.

3 pages of Phonic Fun with ai: worksheet, story and key (#17)
Hi, See my account for other worksheets in this series. The stories are classified as "decodable", but unlike many so called decodable stories these have over 90 percent decodable text as opposed to the 40- 60 percent found in most "phonic readers" I mix sentence fragments with grammatically correct sentences as fragments are often easier for beg...
