I am now, after more than 5 decades in the work force, officially semi-retired. New hobby: gardening. Old hobby restarting: table tennis. I still have some classes to teach and materials to design, many of which I will continue to share with the dear members of ESLPs. You may come across my materials on Facebook and my blog.

New Alphabet Tracks: letter w in full color, black and white and blank.
Three tracks today; getting close to the end. I am thinking of making 2 versions of "y", but there are not many suitable words(the same goes for "k") so I have not decided yet. If you have missed any and want to catch up, just go to my account and select newest first and scroll through the alphabet tracks. Suggestions on how to use the worksheet...

Capital Track T in full color, black and white and blank.
This upper case T has a different vocabulary set from the lower case letter. I have thickened some lines keep the child on the right track. Suggestions on how to use the worksheet and a key can be found inside. I will complete the set but I know that suitable vocabulary is limited for the missing letters. I will see what I can come up with.

Yes/No Questions with Verb To Be and answer keys.
A couple of fun introductions created so that I could ask some simple questions for practising short yes/no questions with the verb To Be. It seems so easy but never-the-less some students struggle. Hope this helps someone somewhere.

3 pages of Phonic Fun with ch: worksheet, story and key (#6)
Hi, See my account for other worksheets in this series. I mix sentence fragments with grammatically correct sentences as fragments are often easier for beginners to understand. If you wish to edit the "word bank" out, open the document, copy the file, paste into MSPaint and erase the word bank. There will be many worksheets in the series. Chil...

Christmas Bingo boards 5-7 (of 10)
As promised here are some more boards. Go to my account to find more. Usually I play with just 18 of the 24 riddle-calling cards and then each child will end up with at least 1 bingo and everyone finishes the game at the same time. If we play in the Christmas party then they get chocolates for points. If you have any questions about the game please...

What is orange/black and white?: 4 worksheets in color and B & W
Black and white are together. I only have brown and grey to do. Ill try and make two different grey worksheets to cater for British and American spellings. I was looking on this site for worksheets for young children related to individual colours and found very few so I decided to make another mini series. The coloured worksheets can be used for l...

I spy occupations poster and criss cross worksheet: words and pictures
How many occupations on this poster? Many! Make small groups and give each group a magnifying glass and a poster, then dictate words to them. They must first find the words and then write them on the board. For new vocabulary, write the word on the board and have them find the correct picture. Now give them the criss cross puzzle to do. Another ide...

Irregular Plurals Boardgame
Here is a boardgame which could force me to call a "dice" a "die". Sure sounds politically incorrect, "DIE please!", so Ill stick with "dice" for both the singular and plural, though you may have your own preferences. Others: sheep-sheep, foot-feet, child-children, tooth-teeth, ox-oxen, man-men, mouse-mice, elf-elves, goose-geese, woman-women, wo...
