I am now, after more than 5 decades in the work force, officially semi-retired. New hobby: gardening. Old hobby restarting: table tennis. I still have some classes to teach and materials to design, many of which I will continue to share with the dear members of ESLPs. You may come across my materials on Facebook and my blog.

Words and Sentences 3 with answer key.
The first one in the series came out 7 months ago. This one focuses on the affixes -ence and -ance, which are difficult when it comes to spelling because they generally sound the same, if root is ant, then we use ance and if the root is ent we use ence, but English seems to have exceptions everywhere. The key is on page two.

I couldnt resist making more tonight. Make sure that you have a lot of fun when you practise the adverbs and be careful how you bump your head. This being a phonics exercise. Try sounding out the words, slowly. For example: /e/, /l/, /b/, /ow/ (elbow). 3 Magic pages of Phonic Fun with air: worksheet, dialogue and key (#28)
Im going to change the format of some future dialogues; this is the last in the present format. Use the dialogue to practice interviews and to talk about future jobs. I chose the location of the dialogue in the USA because the children use the word airplane and not aeroplane. Though the characters are not Americans. Let the children change the n...

This is the fifth and last in the series covering short adjectives. I plan to do more with long adjectives, but will need a new design for those worksheets. Big or Little: mini dialogues in colour and B & W.
This worksheet can be used with my many of my other materials on big and little, which are uploaded here. I would suggest that you play big-little bingo or some other related game before doing this worksheet. Children must decide if the creature is big or little and whether it is best to run or swim. There is no real correct answer but certainly w...
