This works extremely well with senior classes. The Youtube clips are really interesting, and Ive had a lot of success with this lesson. Basically, students discuss their life goals together via the questions on the worksheet, and then watch and discuss the Youtube videos on Generation Y.

Poetry Using Metaphors
This worksheet has 3 interesting poems, all of which use metaphors in some way. I usually ask the students a few questions about the poems, and then get them to write their own. The 3 poems serve as quite useful models (especially the last one) and the students are usually able to write successfully with this input.
