Speed Dating
Real good way to get pupils talking. They have three minutes to interview the person sitting opposite and extract information and see if they would choose them for a date!! After 3 minutes the men move round one seat so everyone is talking to another person. I have uploaded a separate part to this to help make their decision and take notes.

Free Time Hobbies Questionnaire
A questionnaire (2 copies per page) for children to ask 3 friends about their free time and hobbies. Questions are of yes/no format and asking further details (e.g. Do you play a sport? What sport do you play?). After the questionnaire, children can use their answers to write or talk about their friends.
