Quite the Opposite: illustrated fill the gap exercise with key
Hi,
Im having (and giving you) a break from phonics. I couldnt find my opposites crossword so I decided to make this exercise as I must teach adjectives and opposites this week. Im sure that most students will not need instructions, but if you see a blank page then give the student a little help until that "Aha!" moment.

Adverb Poster: classroom and student versions
Today I was looking here for a pictionary and poster displaying adverbs and could not find one, so here we are. The student poster can be used in many ways, for example cut out pictures and have students stick them into their notebook and ask questions like "Whats he doing?" The classroom poster, which can be printed clearly at A3 size, can be dis...

Continental Quest. Capital Q track game in full colour, greyscale and blank
Not enough vocabulary for my usual track game so I made this new game for practising countries and continents, as well as national flag recognition and country shapes. This game is a natural follow up or precursor to my "Dealing with Countries" game. If you do not have it then check my account. I could not make a black and white version but have ...

New Alphabet Tracks: letter w in full color, black and white and blank.
Three tracks today; getting close to the end. I am thinking of making 2 versions of "y", but there are not many suitable words(the same goes for "k") so I have not decided yet. If you have missed any and want to catch up, just go to my account and select newest first and scroll through the alphabet tracks.
Suggestions on how to use the worksheet...

Family Flash Cards: 81-88
More family cards, which use the pronoun "they". Again lots of choice in the cards you use. See other "family flash cards" for the backs and ideas on their usage. I had problems uploading but will try and send the final file in this series tomorrow.

Family Flash Cards: 57-64 of 72
Although these are primarily designed as family flash cards they can be used in many other areas such as, as previously mentioned, in combination with verb cards. "Whats your sister doing?" For physical descriptions, "What does your grandfather look like?" and for fashion, "Whats your brother wearing?"
Ill have to try out all these ideas myself...

Adverbs of Degree 2 multi-choice worksheet with answer keys
Even native speakers can get by with a relatively small number of adverbs when speaking, but a large number of them is necessary when it comes to reading and writing. They can also be a lot of fun to learn.
