Twin Opposites with a key that acts as an extra worksheet.
Page 1 is relatively easy as it has a word bank. Page 2 acts as a key, but the teacher can do so much more with it. Use it for practising interviews, as a reading comprehension task, for finding the opposites and more. You know the level of your students so you are the one to set any comprehension tasks IMO.
You can erase or crop the "Word Bank"...

Days of the Week: Saturday and Everyday (3 worksheets, color and B & W plus word search key)
Thanks again for all your kind comments. I had to finish this today. I made a simple worksheet for reviewing every day, which includes 4 different activities which are self explanatory. You could suggest that the child draw an activity next to their favourite day and you may have to point out that there are 17 different days in the word search. I...

3 Magic pages of Phonic Fun with a_e: worksheet, story and key (#21)
Hi,
I plan to focus five worksheets on magic e and this is the first one. Probably you know that magic e, although silent, is not the same as a silent e because it has the power to change the preceding vowel sound.
See my account for other worksheets in this series.
The stories are classified as "decodable", but unlike many so called decodabl...

5 in a row phonic spinners 4 with scorecards and instructions
"5 In a Row". Let me describe it as a teacher led activity, though a student can take the part of the teacher or students can play in pairs or groups. A student rolls a (large) dice and calls the number. "Four!" The teacher, out of direct sight of the students, takes a paper clip and pencil or chopstick and spins the clip around the pencil point in...

Gg Picture Covers: An exercise in phonics with answer key and cumulative notes.
Gg. Here is another idea for you. Cover all the pictures with chips, then a student rolls a dice (die) and can uncover the number of pictures thrown. Any pictures which are not identified, or read, correctly are recovered with chips and play passes to the next player. Chips can again be used as points if you wish. The teacher, if playing, should pl...
