Hi,
See my account for other worksheets in this series.
The stories are classified as "decodable", but unlike many so called decodable stories these have over 90 percent decodable text as opposed to the 40- 60 percent found in most "phonic readers" I mix sentence fragments with grammatically correct sentences as fragments are often easier for beg...

3 Magic pages of Phonic Fun with o_e: worksheet, story and key (#24)
Hi,
The story is of a more serious nature, touching on war, refugees, homelessness and homesickness in such a way as to elicit empathy rather than fear. I hope you like it.
I only have one more worksheet to go, then I must take a break as the new school year is soon to begin.

Some ways to use them:

Lost in Sydney: directions and prepositions with answer key and extras.
The focus is on the prepositions and directions with a side target of prepositions of movement in sports. Students should have some knowledge of prepositions and directions before attempting this worksheet. I have added a couple of spoilers into the word banks.
Pages 3 and 4 can be used as part of a correspondence course if need be.

Plurals to Singular Crossword 2 with keys.
After noticing that most worksheets move from the singular to the plural, I decided to reverse the situation. Children are encouraged to write the plurals first and then the singular. This one is slightly more difficult than the first.
