I am now, after more than 5 decades in the work force, officially semi-retired. New hobby: gardening. Old hobby restarting: table tennis. I still have some classes to teach and materials to design, many of which I will continue to share with the dear members of ESLPs. You may come across my materials on Facebook and my blog.

Capital Track M in full color, black and white and blank.
This upper case M has a different vocabulary set from the lower case letter. I have thickened some lines keep the child on the right track. I used a similar stroke order to the capital H, although I do not write this letter that way myself. Suggestions on how to use the worksheet and a key can be found inside.

Big or Little?: worksheets and flash cards part 1 of 2 (5 pages)
Big and little may seem to be simple concepts but size is a relative concept. An elephant may always seem big to me but not always so to another elephant. Anyway, in this set there are 10 pairs of flash cards (20 different cards) and 2 worksheets. One worksheet follows my hot/cold worksheet design and the other my this/that worksheet design. Backs ...

Phonic Alphabet Circle with instructions
A few teachers are downloading my early learning resources, so I will continue for a little while to upload more at this easy starter level. The cards can be used individually, cooperatively or competitively. The creative teacher will easily think of other fun ways to use these cards. That is an X-ray fish in there. Have fun in class.

Numbers Pictionary 1-30: full colour and grayscale
Yesterday I uploaded a 1-12 poster and today the 1-30. I created it to display in my classroom so that my students have a ready reference to the correct spelling of these numbers. If you have a large classroom then you can print it out clearly to A3 size. If you wish to change the colours then drag the worksheet from MSWord into MSPaint and you can...
