Hh Picture Covers: An exercise in phonics with answer key and cumulative notes.
Hh. Cover the pictures as usual, then set a timer for 30 seconds. Students �jan-ken� or roll dice to see goes first. The student has 30 seconds to uncover pictures and identify them, this is done one by one. If they misname or fail to identify a picture, then that picture is covered before play continues.
